    Stops

    1. Welcome!

To make the most of your time at the University of La Verne, it's best to fully immerse yourself in the university community, and there is no better way to do that than living on campus.

Before the pandemic, nearly 800 of our undergraduate students lived in university housing on the La Verne Campus. The university has three residence halls, each offering a unique residential experience ranging from community-oriented to independence-building.

No matter which living experience you're looking for in college, each hall features amenities that will help you live in safety and comfort, plus we have a delicious dining hall to keep you well fed.

This tour highlights the residence halls where you will enjoy the ultimate college experience and make lifelong friends when we return to on-campus learning.

    2. The Spot

Located on the first floor of Citrus Hall is our dining hall, The Spot, which is run by Bon Appetit Management Company. The Spot has multiple food stations, including a wood-fired pizza oven, a grill, hot food options, a breakfast station, a soup and salad bar, and even a frozen yogurt machine. The chefs are accommodating to food allergies and homesickness--if there is a recipe you want them to try, submit it and if they can produce it on a large scale, it can be made for all students to enjoy. The large open dining hall offers a variety of booth, counter, and table seating options so that you can eat solo while studying or share a meal with friends.

    3. Citrus Hall

Opened in fall 2018, Citrus Hall is a five-story residence hall that houses first- and second-year students. The building is ADA compliant, with co-ed floors, single-gendered rooms, and gender-neutral options for students. It also features wireless internet, laundry rooms, lounge spaces, study rooms, TVs with cable, ping pong and pool tables, community kitchens and air conditioning. Resident assistants are located on each floor to help residents and organize social events.

    4. Vista La Verne

Vista La Verne is a residence hall ideal for students wanting more independence and privacy. The four-story building is composed of suite-style units and can house about 378 students--mostly juniors and seniors, transfers, and some graduate students. The floors of Vista are co-ed, with each suite being single-gendered. Each unit has two single rooms, two double rooms and private bathrooms. Vista features wireless internet, laundry rooms, lounge spaces, study rooms, TVs with cable, recreation equipment, a large community kitchen, and air conditioning.

    5. The Oaks

The Oaks is ideal for students interested in making friends and developing a strong sense of community. The Oaks is composed of six “houses” and can accommodate approximately 250 students. The floors are co-ed and have separate gendered bathrooms. Each community has a central lounge, a kitchenette with a community refrigerator and microwave, wireless internet, cable TV in the lounge area, a laundry room, and central air conditioning. Residents can also choose to live in one of our living-learning communities: the Honors Program, Women’s Experience, and Social Justice and Inclusivity.
