      Great Basin Hall has five stories, houses up to 400 residents and offers primarily suite-style living arrangements. Conveniently located next to the Virginia Street Gym and Juniper Hall, Great Basin offers some living learning community floors.

    2. Canada Hall

      A five-story residence hall, Canada Hall houses up to 223 students and offers an excellent alternative to off-campus living with apartment-style suites on campus. Canada Hall is located off Virginia Street, shares a courtyard with Nye Hall and is within walking distance of the Sierra Street Parking Garage.

      • Returning residents who have lived in the residence halls for at least one year

    3. Nevada Living Learning Community Hall

      The Nevada Living Learning Community Residence Hall is five stories and houses about 300 students in suite-style arrangements. Designed specifically to enhance the student's on-campus experience with each floor having common spaces dedicated for academic and social pursuits and classrooms on the first floor. It is within walking distance of the Sierra Street Parking Garage.

    4. Argenta Hall

      Argenta Hall was renovated in 2022. Today, it is an eight-story residence hall that houses up to 750 students and shares a connected walkway to neighboring Nye Hall. Its entire first floor is dedicated to Pack Place, a state-of-the-art, all-you-care-to-eat dining hall with 12 stations, each designed to serve different cuisines on a rotating menu.

    5. Nye Hall

      Renovated in 2020, Nye hall has eight floors that houses up to 555 residents. Floors two through eight have two wings connected by a lounge, equipped with couches and a television. Known for its strong sense of community, Nye Hall is home to one of the largest staffs on campus.

    6. Juniper Hall

      Juniper Hall is located off Virginia Street and connects to Manzanita Hall, sharing a community lounge on the first floor. This building stands four stories and can house up to 78 residents in suite-style arrangements with views of Manzanita Lake and is steps away from the Overlook food court.

    7. Manzanita Hall

      Built in 1896, Manzanita Hall is a historic three-story building that can accommodate up to 100 residents. Manzanita Hall was renovated in 2019 and connects to Juniper Hall, sharing a community lounge on the first floor. This hall faces Manzanita Lake, sits in the southern tip of campus, and features a basement study room and a private piano room.

    8. Peavine Hall

      Peavine Hall is oriented around a wellness theme, providing an opportunity to focus on health and wellness topics that intersect with the daily lives of college students. A five-story hall, Peavine Hall is next to Sierra Hall, and features individual rooms with private baths and suite-style rooms with shared baths. Beautiful lounges are found throughout the building to facilitate studying, socializing and recreation.

    9. Sierra Hall

      Sierra Hall houses up to 297 residents and offers four different living options for transfer students and upper-class students, with limited spaces for first-year students. The hall’s five residence floors feature same-gender and gender-inclusive floors.

    10. Campbell-Friedman Hall (Lake Tahoe)

      Built in 1996, Campbell-Friedman Hall has 26 rooms within its residence hall. It is connected to Patterson Dining Hall, so students are down the hallway from the same room they eat their daily meals in. All rooms are furnished with up to three beds, one desk, one chair and three wardrobe units.

    11. Prim-Schultz Hall (Lake Tahoe)

      Prim-Schultz Hall was built in 2000, and it is adjacent to Patterson Hall. Within the residence hall there are 62 rooms. Rooms are double and triple occupancy with a creek or mountain view. All rooms are furnished with up to four beds (two bunk bed sets), two desks, two chairs, two dressers and two small drawer units.

       All dorm residents have access to lounge and game rooms, wireless internet, vending machines, laundry machines, private bathrooms, lockers for extra storage, and personal mailbox.

      We offer a variety of campus tour options for our prospective students and their families. Pick the one that works best for you!

      Nevada Bound: A full-day, on-campus tour where you can take a guided tour, meet with with admissions representatives, learn about academic options, discuss financial and and scholarships, and hear from residential life experts.

      Las Vegas Fly-Up Nevada Bound: A one-day chaperoned visit for high school junior, senior or transfer students in Southern Nevada.
