    1. Houston Cole Library

      At thirteen stories, the Houston Cole Library is the tallest academic building in Alabama.  The library houses more than 700,000 volumes and nearly 44,000 electronic journal titles.  It is also home to the Student Success Center and Houston Cole Cafe.

    2. Brewer Hall

      Albert P. Brewer Hall is home to the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, which prepares students to impact the world in fields ranging from social work to political science.

    3. Merrill Hall

      Merrill Hall is the home of our College of Business and Industry. This includes majors like Marketing, Accounting, Applied Engineering and so many more!  
      Merrill recently opened last fall and has quickly become a huge attraction to our students. 

      There is a finance lab, funded by our partners at Regions bank that serves as a classroom space. 
      There are lecture halls and individual study spaces for our students to reserve.  

      Boar's Head and Starbucks is a place where students can use their flex dollars. This option serves lunch sandwiches and hand-crafted beverages.

    4. President's Home

      Our 13th President, Dr. Don Killingsworth, his wife, and two kids live in this house. Our President is very involved on campus and shows his friendlessness and love for JSU each and every day.

    5. Angle Hall

      Angle Hall is known as our “One-Shop-Stop". In this building all of our administrative offices are housed such as, Student Accounts, Financial Aid, Housing. This is also where our 13th President's office is housed. He has an open door policy and loves to connect with our students.

    6. Ayers Hall

      Ayers Hall is home to the Mathematical, Computing, & Information Sciences, Psychology, and the Center for Manufacturing Support.

    7. Sparkman Hall

      Sparkman Hall sets itself apart by providing students with the opportunity to learn from a diverse student population. This nine-story, co-ed residence hall is located on Trustee Circle between Ayers and Mason Hall.

      Two-person suites are offered on the first eight floors, and one-person suites are offered on the ninth floor. Two-person suites are comprised of two separate rooms joined by a shared bathroom. One-person suites are comprised of a private bedroom and bathroom. Residents can enjoy the quite study rooms or hang in the lounges.

    10. Pannell Hall

      Pannell Hall Apartments is located in the best areas on campus. Here, you are within walking distance some of the most popular spot at JSU, such as Jack Hopper Dining Hall, Leone Cole Auditorium, and the Quad.

      Pannell Hall Apartments offers one-bedroom and efficiency units. They have a living/bedroom combination, bathroom, and kitchen with refrigerator and range.

    11. Leone Cole Auditorium

      Leone Cole Auditorium is an event facility for hosting  events such as Gamecock Orientation, Miss JSU Competition, award events, concerts, and more.
    12. Quad

      The Quad, situated near the heart of campus, has been a favorite gathering spot for generations of Gamecocks. Enjoy shade trees and benches for studying, and outdoor tables for meeting friends for a break between classes.
    13. Ramona Wood Hall

      Built in 1939, it contained the College of Education and Professional Studies for many years, but it is now home to the Department of Criminal Justice & Forensic Investigation.

    15. Daugette Hall

      This unique residence hall holds a very diverse group of male residents. It is located right on Trustee Circle with a great view of the Quad on one side and Burgess-Snow Field at JSU Stadium on the other.

      Residents can relax in the lounge in front of the big screen TV or do homework by using the free Wi-Fi provided throughout the building. This hall is only available to students who have lived on campus for a semester or are transfer students.

    17. Theron Montgomery Building

      The Theron Montgomery Building, otherwise known as the TMB, is commonly known to be our student union, this is a place where students can study, be social and grab a bite to eat.  It is also home to our Bookstore, Dean of Students Office, Print Shop, ID Office and the Mail Center.

      Stephenson Hall is home to the Athletic Sports Performance Center, Exercise Science and Wellness and Sports Management Classrooms and Professor Offices.

      At Jax State’s award-winning Recreation and Fitness Center, you can enjoy 101,000+ square feet of wellness! After all, a healthy mind requires a healthy body, right? You can swim your way to fitness with indoor and outdoor pools, scale new heights on the 43-foot tall rock-climbing wall, enjoy three gymnasiums, workout and free weight areas, a cardio wing, and a 360-degree walking/running track. As a student you can take free workout classes or visit the Adventure Recreation Center, where you can rent outdoor equipment like kayaks and tents, and even sign up for off-campus trips. Too tired to workout? The UREC has a game room and snack bar for your mental wellness needs!

    21. Meehan Hall

      Meehan Hall is a fantastic option for both first-year students and upperclassmen. This co-ed hall provides residents with a mix between living in a residence hall and an apartment. Each unit has four private bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchenette, and a common area.

      Study and social lounges and exercise rooms can be found on each floor. Computer labs with Wi-Fi can be found throughout the building. This hall also provides easy access to Burgess-Snow Field at JSU Stadium, so residents can be a part of Gamecock Football like never before!

      The first floor is reserved for first-year students, with a mix of freshman and upper-class students on the remaining floors. Applicants must mutually request roommates, or roommates will be randomly assigned to each unit.

    22. Fitzpatrick Hall

      Fitzpatrick Hall is a great place to call home for female first-year students! Here, you will make memories that will last a lifetime. We provide special programming and many activities to help you fit in and feel at home. Located near the heart of campus, this residence hall provides easy access to the Quad, Burgess-Snow Field at the JSU Stadium, and Dillon Field, just to name a few. Residents can relax in one of the lounges, or work on homework wherever they are thanks to the free Wi-Fi provided in the hall.

    23. Curtiss Hall

      Curtiss Hall is one of the more popular residence halls for female first-year students. Conveniently located next to Burgess-Snow Field at the JSU Stadium and Dillon Field, this hall allows for residents to be right near many fun campus activities, including housing many sorority chapter rooms in the basement!  Curtiss Hall also features a lounge, back patio, and free Wi-Fi throughout the building.

    24. Salls Hall

      Salls Hall is home to our university police department. We are under 4 jurisdictions here at JSU: UPD, Jacksonville Police, the Calhoun County Sheriffs, and the state troopers. UPD is in charge of parking. Students can park anywhere on campus as long as they are between two white lines and have a parking decal.

    26. International House

      The Clarence W. Daugette, Jr International House is home to the Jones International House Program, which provides a window on the world for American and international students at Jacksonville State University.

      The program began in 1946 with four students from France and originally focused on language. While the emphasis is still placed on languages, greater importance is now placed on promoting global understanding and peace between all nations and cultures.

      There are 40 members of the program— 20 American students and 20 international. Each international student is from a different country and is roomed with an American student.
