    1. Sheldon Hall

      Sheldon Hall includes the Office of Admissions (undergraduate), The Office of Financial Aid, The Division of Extended Learning, University Development, and the Office of International Education and Programs.

      On the National Register of Historic Places, Sheldon Hall is named after Oswego’s founder, Edward Austin Sheldon. Built in 1913, Sheldon Hall was the first building constructed on Oswego’s main campus and served as the entire college for many years.

    2. Rich Hall

      Rich Hall, home of our College of Business and Entrepreneurship, is internationally accredited by the AACSB, which distinguishes elite business schools around the world. Our business program continues to be rated as among the nation’s finest programs by The Princeton Review and US News & World Report. Located in this building is our very own Bloomberg Terminal, the most powerful and flexible platform used by financial professionals for real time financial data, news and analytics. This building is also home to the The Rich ’N’ Pour Cafe — our student-led, student-run cafe! Rich Hall is also home to our Business Advisement Center (BAC). The purpose of BAC is to provide students with information and support needed to complete a degree program.  

    3. Park Hall

      Park Hall is the second oldest building on campus and is part of our College of Education, Health, and Human Services. The building was designed to enhance the learning experience offered by each department in Park, including Technology Education, Educational Administration, Health Promotion and Wellness, and Vocational Teacher Preparation. Oswego is home to one of the nation’s premier programs in Technology Education; we have 11 technology labs for students. Our Technology Education program is one of the largest and oldest in the country! Park Hall’s cornerstone was laid in 1930 by then Governor, Franklin D. Roosevelt. Park Hall went through a $17.5 million renovation in 2014. 

    4. Wilber Hall

      Wilber Hall is the main building for the nationally accredited College of Education, Health and Human Services. Wilber Hall was renovated along with Park Hall, and now boasts 13,700- square-feet of state-of-the-art technology labs as well as the school’s field placement office. Here you’ll find the departments of Curriculum and Instruction, various classrooms, wood lab, manufacturing lab, and more!

    5. Shineman Center for Science, Engineering and Innovation

      The Shineman Center for Science, Engineering and Innovation is home to 50 labs, classrooms and offices for the departments of atmospheric and geological sciences, biological sciences, chemistry, computer science, engineering, mathematics and physics. This facility spans 230,000 square feet and breaks innovative grounds in technology and teaching labs, and also features a planetarium, greenhouse with variable-ecosystem growth chambers, and breathtaking views from the meteorology observation decks. Grab a meal at the Fusion Café between classes for a quick bite! The building also stands as a testament to Oswego’s commitment to sustainability with its GOLD standard LEED environmental certification. There is estimated to be around $15 million in equipment in this building. 

    6. Marano Campus Center

      Named in honor of Lorraine and Nunzio “Nick” Marano’s generous support, the Marano Campus Center is the beating heart of SUNY Oswego, featuring recreational facilities, classrooms and gathering spaces. You’ll find student-run media including WTOP’s Al Roker TV studio, WNYO-FM radio station, and the Oswegonian newspaper, providing valuable experience for students of any major. Amenities include ATMs, a barber shop, College Store, food court and on-the-go snacks, Auditorium, Chu Atrium and Swetman Gym. Additionally, the Deborah F. Stanley Arena & Convocation Hall hosts ceremonies, concerts, events and must-see DIII ice hockey.

      Services in Marano include:

      Accessibility Resources, Advisement Center, Box Office, Campus Event & Conference Services, COMPASS (major, internship & career exploration hub), Experiential Courses & Engaged Learning, Student Activities Center (clubs & orgs), Student Association and more.

      Academic departments in Marano include:

      English & Creative Writing, Honors Program, Interdisciplinary Programs & Activities Center, Modern Languages & Literatures, and Philosophy.

    7. Deborah F. Stanley Arena & Convocation Hall

      The Deborah F. Stanley Arena and Convocation Hall hosts the Laker men’s and women’s varsity hockey teams, open skate for the college and community, intramural broomball, college figure skating and hockey club. The venue also plays host to concerts, speakers, Admissions events and SUNY Oswego Commencement ceremonies among a variety of other events.

       

      Among the top in Division II & III attendance, this multipurpose venue accommodates 3,000 fans with seating (2,500) and standing-rail areas (500). Features include a state-of-the-art press box donated by ESPN’s Steve Levy ’87, sound system and LED scoreboard. The 200x85 foot playing surface is bordered by professional-standard glass and boards, with nearby locker rooms and a training room for athlete care.

    8. Funnelle Hall

      Funnelle Hall is one of the Central Campus Residence Communities, offering great views of the campus and centrally located to everything! Funnelle Hall is located next to Hart Hall and connected to Hart Hall by Cooper Dining Hall. On the lower level, is a fitness center where you can workout, take a yoga or spin class, and have access to a personal trainer. Starting Fall 2026 Funnelle Hall will be for first-year students only. Every residence hall has amenities that are available to students at the front desk including cooking/cleaning items, movies, board games, shovels, game consoles, etc. There is laundry located in every residence hall for our students to use. Our residence halls are very secure with 24/7 ID card access. Residence halls across campus are all similar in square footage. 

    9. Cooper Dining Hall

      Cooper Dining Hall is the residential dining center located between Hart Hall and Funnelle Hall. Cooper Dining Hall has an ice cream stand called The Creamery which is popular amongst our students. The hours for the dining hall can be found here and their daily menu is always available to view. Each dining hall has its own menu for the day! If your favorite dish is being served elsewhere, feel free to go to that dining hall instead. It is all included in your meal plan. 

    10. Hewitt Hall

      Hewitt Hall has been transformed through an $80 million renovation into a state-of-the-art home for Broadcasting, Graphic Design, and Cinema & Screen Studies. The facility opened up in Fall 2025. The updated facility features technologically advanced teaching spaces, team lab rooms, podcast studios, broadcasting studios, cafe, and sales gallery that support programs within the College of Communication, Media and the Arts. This building also has a ballroom for music perfomances and other events, esports lab, VR suite, screening room for student films, and much more!

    11. Tyler Hall

      Tyler Hall — home to nationally accredited programs in art, music, and theatre — has completed a multi-million dollar rejuvenation. Tyler Hall includes Waterman Theatre; a two-story music rehearsal hall and venue for small performances; a flexible art gallery; a digital media lab and a recording studio; and more! Each semester Tyler presents numerous theatre performances, art exhibits, and other events. Shows feature Oswego students, local artists, or nationally known performers. Waterman Theatre can hold an audience of 440 people and is a very busy space! There are only less than 10 days a semester where nothing is happening in there. The Theatre is 100% staffed by students giving great hands-on experience in running a sound board, stage lighting, etc. 

    12. Academic Quad

      The academic quad is a great place to meet friends, read a book, throw a frisbee, or take a break between classes.

    13. Penfield Library

      Penfield Library is a popular location for quiet study and research. You can check out laptops, use the presentation and group study rooms, a 24-hour study room and have access to the inter-library loan program. Penfield is also home to the Lake Effect Café is a great spot to find a favorite snack or Starbucks beverage! The Library is also home to the Office of Learning Services’ free Tutoring Center and Writing Center for all students, Educational Opportunity Program (EOP), Institute for Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Transformative Practice, computer and multimedia labs, harmony room, and SHOP (Students Helping Oz Peers) food/clothing pantry.
