Iris Coffee Bar at Missoula College is operated by student in the
Big Sky Culinary Institute. It provides espresso and beverage service, baked goods and takeaway items. Iris Coffee Bar is located on the second floor of the Missoula College building on East Broadway.
Students in their final semester of the
Food Service Management program are responsible for the creation of menus, grab-and-go items, marketing and staffing of the location.
Iris Coffee Bar is a partnership with Montana Osprey Project to honor the world-famous, Iris, the osprey. For the last 20+ years, Iris has had her nest on the east corner of the Missoula College property and has a significant fan-base from around the globe, watching the unique bird and her mate, babies, and day-to-day routines.
