Clements Hall
Renovated in 1993, Cowart Hall is a 120-bed, suite type facility for female residents. All rooms are double occupancy with two rooms sharing a bathroom facility. Rooms are air-conditioned and furnished with a twin bed, chest of drawers, desk, bookshelf and closet/storage space for each resident. Upperclassmen students receive priority in being assigned to Cowart Hall.
Suite-type living with double occupancy 12' x 17' rooms with shared bathrooms between two rooms. All rooms are carpeted and include beds, desks with light, wardrobe closet space and chests of drawers. All furniture is movable for custom decorating. Building has an elevator and is completely ADA accessible.
Gardner Hall
Catherine Collins Gardner Hall, an all-male residence hall, is named for a member of the University’s founding faculty. Gardner Hall, conveniently located near the Trojan Center, is a 63-room traditional residence hall.
The building includes a lounge with a television and snack vending machines. There are community-style bathrooms and each bedroom houses 2 students. Furniture included for each resident includes a movable bed, a built-in desk, a chest of drawers, and a desk shelf.
Hamil Hall
Lorraine Estelle Hamil Hall, an all-female residence hall, is named for a former member of the University’s faculty. It is conveniently located near the Adams Student Center and most academic buildings. The University Police station is on the bottom floor of Hamil Hall. The bottom floor also houses the Mary E. Rich Health Center.
Hamil Hall is a traditional residence hall designed to house 147 women. Double-occupancy 11'6 X 15'6 rooms with movable beds and built-in desks and chest of drawers, shelves and storage space. Each floor has community-style bathrooms. Fob access for building entry to enhance security.
Newman Center
John Henry Cardinal Newman Center Residence Hall (2013) is owned and operated by the Troy University Foundation and provides a learning community option to explore the Trojan Way.
The Newman Center opened Fall 2013. It is has 376 bed spaces and is a two-building co-ed facility.
Rushing Hall
Rushing Hall is Troy University’s newest state-of-the-art residence hall with key fob entry, featuring 280 single-bed suites, 68 double occupancy suites and 12 handicapped suites on four floors.
There is a storm shelter available on the first floor of both wings of Rushing Hall, and there is a co-ed study wing over the arch on the fourth floor.
Rushing Hall is the only dorm with full size beds and TVs with cable standard to each room. Included for residents are a full size bed and mattress, desk, chair, and dresser.
This is the former site of Alumni Hall (1966), which was a male residence hall that was demolished in May/June 2014 to make room for Rushing Hall, opened in August 2015. Alumni Hall had two wings named to honor Dr. James O. Colley, Jr., and Frank S. Anderson.
Trojan Village
There are two and four bedroom apartment units available. Each unit has individual bedrooms. There is a common livingroom area for each unit and a kitchenette with a shared refrigerator and microwave.
International Arts Center
The International Arts Center is the name given to the renovated building formally known as Frank Ross Stewart Hall (1966), which the University’s dining hall until Trojan Dining was completed in 2011. The International Arts Center sits within the Janice Hawkins Cultural Arts Park and includes the Hou Bao Zhu Gallery, the Fred Nall Hollis Gallery and Warriors Unearthed Designed by Frank Marquette, an interpretive center explaining the significance and design of the terracotta warrior exhibit. The International Arts Center will also include studio and classroom space and be the home to the University Graphic Design program.

Patterson Hall
Douglas C. Patterson Hall (2005) houses classrooms and academic offices and is named for a former Vice Chancellor of Troy University.
