    1. Terracotta Warriors

      Dr. Huo Bao Zhu is a longtime friend of Troy University and owner of China’s Shaanxi Yuan Kun Sculptural Arts company. While his foundry is based in Xi’an, China, Dr. Huo’s sculptures can be found around the globe. In 2002, TROY felt Dr. Huo’s generosity when he gave TROY the first round of many sculptures—“Trojan Warriors,” “The Statue of Li Po” (created in honor of a famous Tang poet), a replica of Rodin’s “The Thinker” and several terracotta warrior bronze sculptures— all of which can be found on the Troy Campus. In view of his outstanding contribution and dedication to art achievement, Dr. Huo received his honorary doctorate from TROY in 2014.
    2. Peace Dove statue

      The Violata Pax (Wounded Peace) Dove symbolizes beauty and peace, sorrow and tragedy. Where you stand determines what you see. The sculpture was originally commissioned as part of a post-earthquake renovation project for the Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi in Italy, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The dove is a symbol of peace and life everlasting.
    3. Music Man statue

      The Music Man statue by Huo Bao Zhu stands outside of the John M. Long School of Music. The Music Man is dedicated to Dr. Carl Vollrath, former TROY music professor and renowned composer.
    4. Chancellor, Dr. Jack Hawkins, Jr. 30th Anniversary Clock

      "Time flies, but memories last forever.” Dr. Jack Hawkins, Jr., Chancellor of Troy University, recalled those words on Saturday, during a ceremony honoring his 30 years of service as the University’s chancellor. Thanks to the help of generous donors, the University dedicated a clock, located in front of Smith Hall, in honor of Dr. Hawkins’ 30 years at TROY. Dr. Hawkins became the Chancellor on Sept. 1, 1989, following the retirement of Dr. Ralph Adams who served in the position for 25 years." Read More
    5. The Trojan Warrior statue and fountain

      The Trojan Warrior statue and fountain located on the Quad was designed by alumnus, Larry Strickland ('84). The Trojan Family often refers to him as Hector.
    6. The Thinker statue

      The Thinker was donated to Troy University by Huo Bao Zhu. During the visit of Dr. Jack Hawkins, Jr., Chancellor to Xian, China in April 2002. The gift was made in celebration of the Sino-American 1-2-1 Joint Degree Program and as a lasting symbol of friendship between China and the United States.
    7. Globe fountain

      The Globe fountain at the Nolan Hatcher Gateway on the Rotary International Plaza at Pace Hall, home to the University’s International Programs.
    8. Troy University World fountain

      The World fountain is located on TROY's Social Quad.
