    1. North Campus Residence Hall

Available exclusively for incoming freshmen, North Hall is home to some of the finest living and learning spaces on campus. This newly constructed, 274-bed facility opened in fall 2015 to strengthen the First Year student experience. Tucked into the thickly-wooded north end of campus, the Hall also features plentiful parking, community kitchenettes on every floor, "open use" laundry facilities, and study rooms on each wing of the trendy four-story structure.
Take a 360° tour of North Hall:
    2. River House

The River House features interactive flat-screen TVs, food service, wireless technology, conference and meeting rooms, a cozy fireplace setting, a 2-story screen porch, outdoor multi-tiered decks totaling more than 2,800 square feet, a fire pit, entertainment stages, and more. A center of constant activity, the on-campus pub serves sandwiches, flatbreads, and salads, as well as hosting nightly entertainment during the semester.

    3. Marine Science Research Institute

MSRI is the home for the Marine Science undergraduate and graduate program along with partner institutions including the Riverkeeper, FWC Independent fish Monitoring Program and the Millar Wilson Laboratory. The 32,000-square-foot facility overlooks the St. Johns River and includes both an outdoor classroom and “floating classroom” The Larkin, which is a 48-foot vessel that allows students and faculty to conduct hands-on marine research, classes and study directly in the marine environment.

A Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)® Gold-certified building, the MSRI is energy efficient, complete with solar hot water system and a rainwater harvest system for non-portable usage. The MSRI achieved their certification for lighting, water and material use, as well as incorporating a variety of other sustainable strategies. By using less energy and water, LEED-certified buildings save money for families, businesses and taxpayers; reduce greenhouse gas emissions; and contribute to a healthier environment for residents, workers and the larger community.

OCEARCH at Jacksonville University also has its academic home in the JU campus in the Marine Science Research Institute.

    4. Dolphin Green

Prime real estate on campus, riverfront oasis Dolphin Green sets the stage for a number of University outdoor activities, including concerts, intramurals, and other events throughout the academic year. It also features spots for sunning, running and socializing.
    5. Historic Swisher Gymnasium

Historic Swisher Gym has been host to both sporting events and musical acts for years, including Billy Joel and Neil Diamond. The lobby chronicles the history of JU’s most successful athletes throughout their NCAA and professional careers. At court level, new banners honor every student-athlete who has had his or her number retired. Opposite, on the west side of the building, is a series of banners for every postseason appearance the programs have collectively made.
    6. Fine Arts Complex

Jacksonville University’s Fine Arts complex includes The Phillips Fine Arts Building and Alexander Brest Museum & Gallery, performing venues Terry Concert Hall, Swisher Theatre and the Brest Dance Pavilion. The College of Fine Arts includes three divisions: the Division of Visual Arts, the Division of Music and the Division of Theatre & Dance.
