    2. Student Union (ESTUN)

      The Student Union fosters interaction among the University community by serving as the living room of the campus. We provide quality programming, support services, dining, recreation and meeting spaces that enrich student life and promote the continuation of learning outside the classroom. The Student Union is the hangout spot - before, between, and after your classes. Grab some food, study, relax or participate in some awesome and free activities. The Food Court is also on the first floor and includes Chick-Fil-A, Revolution Noodle, Community Corner, TeaCo., Rio Bravo Cafe, Vaquero Subs, Pizza Hut, and The Market.

    5. Unity Hall (EUNTY)

      Unity Hall also offers suite-style housing options for its residents. The building is designed to house residents by gender- North Wing is for female and South Wing is for males. Unity hall has a community building in between the two wings open to all residents. Some amenities that can be found are: pool tables, ping pong tables, TV room, laundry facilities, and a community kitchen. Unity Hall's front desk is staffed 24 hours.

    6. University Recreation Building (EUREC)

      The University Recreation, UREC, is the campus gym available to all students, faculty, staff, and community members. UTRGV students, faculty, and staff can access the facility using their UTRGV ID. The UREC offers a rock-climbing wall, basketball courts, volleyball courts, a weight room floor, cardio floor with an indoor track, and outdoor swimming pool.

      The new Science Building is located in the heart of the campus, adjacent to the existing Science Building. The four-story structure is designed to complement the existing three-story science facility and encourage cross-disciplinary collaboration and education between students, faculty, and researchers. Students and visitors will appreciate the theme of the building – “Science on Display.”

      The spaces include classrooms, teaching labs, faculty and researcher offices, an instrumentation research and teaching core, and research labs supporting biological and physical sciences (physics, chemistry synthesis, general research requiring hoods, life sciences, geology, and some infectious materials normally characterized as BSL-2).
