1. Dakota Days Parade Route

   The 2024 Dakota Days celebration is scheduled for Oct. 6 - Oct. 12. Check back soon for more information on the big day's tour routes!

   Stops

   1. Dakota Days Parade Route

      Highlighted in Red – The parade will begin at 9 am near Vermillion High School on Main street.  

      The Floats, Sound of USD Marching Band and community figures will travel west to downtown ending at the intersection of Main & High Streets in Vermillion.

   2. Band Entry Route

      Highlighted in Orange - Marching Band should follow Crawford road to the Main street intersection, then turn west. On Main Street traveling west, turn south onto Mickelson Ave. At intersection, turn west onto E. Lewis Street, continue to southside of Vermillion High School to band staging area.

   3. Float Entries Route

      Highlighted in Purple - Parade Float Entries should follow Crawford road to the Main street intersection. Turn heading west to the Main and Norbeck intersection, then turn south and towards the Vermillion High School parking lot as directed.
