      2. David A Cofrin Library

        Falcon Crossing Fifteen Feet Overhead!

The David A. Cofrin Library serves as a hub for academic support, administrative activity and student learning and success. In addition to the Library’s stacks of greater than 280,000 volumes, the array of Library holdings includes hard copy and electronic historical and contemporary resources, available for research and study.

Rupert and Mimi, our original, semi-permanent Peregrine Falcons have called the specialized nesting box on the roof of Cofrin Library home since 2011. The domestic adventures of our falcon family even became a televised hit, transmitted via “PhalCON” camera viewing station to a closed-circuit video in the Provost Office.

In addition to books and falcon families, Cofrin Library also houses the University’s main administrative offices as well as The Learning Center, a dynamic study and academic support space, located in the Library Commons.

Welcome to the Best View of Campus

The eighth floor of the David A. Cofrin, to be exact. When you walk our hallways, you will see for yourself what makes the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay’s spirit rise tall and burn bright. It’s a spirit that’s in everyone who has made UW-Green Bay more than college, a community dedicated to knowledge, wisdom and friendship. Our campus is accessible, diverse, innovative and beautiful. Every window tells a story.

      3. Mary Ann Cofrin Hall

Hardest Working, Most Sustainable Building on Campus

Perhaps no other building better embraces UW-Green Bay’s problem-solving, student-centered personality more than Mary Ann Cofrin (MAC) Hall. There’s a very good chance that every student will find themselves in at least one of its nearly 21 classrooms, seven specialty laboratories, or 100 offices.

It’s also one of our most environmentally-friendly, consuming half the energy of a comparable building. MAC Hall was built with energy efficiency in mind, featuring electricity-producing technology, high-efficiency lighting and passive-solar collectors.

The building’s central courtyard features bench seating, a relaxing water feature and plant life that is indigenous to Northeast Wisconsin. The building houses programs like psychology, computer science, communication, and political science.

The final feather in MAC’s cap? It’s also the location for the Cofrin Center for Biodiversity offices plus the University Herbarium and Richter Natural History Museum.

      4. Kress Events Center

The Kress Events Center is UW-Green Bay’s venue for Division 1 athletics, intramural sports, and campus health and wellness.
