        About:
        Originally a wood structure built in 1846 on the campus of the Masonic Female Seminary, Langdon Hall was moved to the Auburn campus in 1883 and later bricked over in Greek Revival style. Prior to the Civil War, it was the scene of many debates dealing with secession. The building was named for Charles Carter Langdon, an Auburn trustee from 1872 until 1899. It is now used as an auditorium and personnel office.
