About:
The Edmund C. Leach Nuclear Science Center was dedicated in 1967 as a nuclear science research and teaching facility. It was later made available to interdisciplinary research groups with emphasis on semiconductor research. The recent Leach Science Center addition was completed in May 2019. The addition was required to demolish Allison Laboratory and later on Parker Hall in preparation for the new Academic Classroom and Laboratory Complex and the new Central Dining Hall. The Leach Science Center addition consists of instructional laboratories, research laboratories, student success and collaborative study spaces, department offices and support facilities for the College of Sciences and Mathematics.
