About:
Petrie Hall was completed in 1939 to serve as the Athletics field house. It was named after former professor, dean, and coach, George Petrie who organized Auburn's first football team in 1892 and later penned the "Auburn Creed." The building is currently utilized by Intercollegiate Athletics for offices and storage.
