Sigma Kappa is a sorority determined to enrich it's members collegiate experience with community service, cultivating leadership skills, maintaining high academic achievements, and displaying true sisterhood. The Theta Phi chapter of ΣK was installed on UTC's campus on February 10, 1991. Our five philanthropies include Gerontology, The Alzheimers Association, The Maine Seacoast Mission, Inherit the Earth, and The Sigma Kappa Foundation. Sigma Kappa Sorority was founded at Colby College in Waterville, Maine on November 9, 1874. Our colors are lavender and maroon. Our open motto is "One Heart, One Way", and our values are friendship, loyalty, personal growth, and service.
