Faculty line-up Faculty attending the commencement ceremony will line up on the sidewalk near the Honor Court on the Southeast corner of the Quad. They will proceed into the seating area as the ceremony begins and will recede out after the Platform Party once the ceremony concludes.
Academic regalia is required to participate in the faculty processional. Faculty need to wear their academic attire to the ceremony. Bring as few personal items as possible, as there is no place to store anything.
Hooding a Doctoral or MFA student
Faculty hooding a graduate on stage will need to arrive the same time as the graduate. Please contact the student to find out their check-in time. Faculty hooding a graduate will report to the northeast corner of the Quad by the Paul Laxalt Mineral Engineering building. Enter through the Graduate check-in area and report to the Graduate School.
