Summer 2025
Travel to Japan for a transformative experience centered on cultural enrichment, community building, identity development, and globalization. Visit Tokyo, Harajuku, Shinjuku, and Kyoto to experience the full spectrum of Japanese culture, from traditional elements such as temples, shrines, tea ceremonies, and national heritage sites, to the more modern elements that include technology, cuisine, entertainment and art. By immersing yourself in Japanese culture, you will enhance your understanding of equality and inequality in the US and Japan, consider how culture impacts identity, and foster personal growth and development.
