TEAM Room
New in 2018, the former weight training area was transformed into a robotics and engineering makerspace. Keeping the original “TEAM” room signage from the old weight room door, the word TEAM has been repurposed to Technology. Engineering. Art. Maker. Made possible by generous funding from the PFA, the TEAM room is a vibrant and engaging space where students and faculty have the opportunity to create projects using Carvey, CNC routers, a laser cutter and other specialty tools. The lab is divided into two specific areas, one dedicated to robotics and the other committed to a freeform makerspace. Students and faculty design their projects on computers in the lab and then bring them to life on the machines in the space.
