The Schwartz Administration Building was one of the school's three original buildings and was named in honor of the Founding Headmaster, Peter A. Schwartz. Over the years the building has been the home of the Head of School, business office, school bookstore, kindergarten, LS and MS classrooms. After its most recent renovation in 2008, the building houses the Admissions and Advancement offices and serves as an entry point for campus visitors and guests.
Leaving the building and entering the interior of the campus is a plaza with the notable FWCD fountain. Between the two Upper School buildings is Trustees Plaza, which recognizes all the school's trustees and was dedicated in 1998. The Head of School's Office is located off Trustees Plaza and in the hallway between the Bass Upper School and Mason Middle School. Portraits of the founders of Fort Worth Country Day are hung in the entry to the Head of School's Office.
