The Engineering Annex was originally designed for the 1909 Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exhibition. After the fair, the building was intended for many different purposes. Some uses of the annex include coal operated power plants and metal, paint and electrical workshop. The annex now houses resources and workshops for various engineering departments.
