    1. Rosacker Stadium

Athletics have played an important role throughout the life of the school.

In 1974, a 500-seat stadium and all-weather track were built and, at the initiative of FWCD alumni, the stadium was named Rosacker Stadium in the early 1990s to honor Col. R.C. "Rocky" Rosacker. "The Colonel" was a beloved teacher, winning coach and athletic director during his years at FWCD, 1969-1981 and 1990-1996.

In 2022, the grass-surfaced field at Rosacker Stadium transitioned into a PowerBlade fiber-based turf surface field, manufactured by Shaw Sports Turf. Constructed out of advanced monofilament fibers, it combines the softness and lush appearance of natural grass with the engineered performance of modern synthetic turf, preparing FWCD’s football and soccer athletes to compete on turf fields, which are becoming the standard in top-performing collegiate football and soccer programs.

Underneath the PowerBlade synthetic turf system is a pad to reduce shock absorption, as well as a partial coconut-based Geofill infill system that cools the field’s temperature and makes it resistant to mold, mildew, and salts.
