Otherwise known as the Tulane University School of Medicine, the Murphy Building, was given to Tulane in 2008 by the Murphy Oil Company. The 15-story, 204,500-square-foot office building was constructed in 1983 and has been renovated over the years. Today, the Tulane School of Medicine in the Murphy Building houses the Dean's office and The Office of Academic Affairs for the medical campus. A parking garage with a 233-car capacity adjoins the building.
