          The Hutchinson Memorial Building, left, houses the Tulane University School of Medicine, the second-oldest medical school in the Deep South. Completed in 1929, the art deco building was constructed with funds from a bequest by Alexander Charles Hutchinson.
           
          The buildings consists of three distinct structures, each showcasing a unique architectural style. The inaugural building stands out for its intricate architectural elements, including bronze embellishments and a bust depicting Asclepius, the Greco-Roman deity associated with medicine. Subsequently, supplementary buildings were constructed, linking to the original core edifice in 1959 and 1963.
           
          This collective complex serves as the primary hub for Tulane University School of Medicine's classrooms, administrative offices, and research laboratories.
