Named for Katherine Cooper Cater, Auburn's Dean of Women and Social Director in 1946, Cater Hall is home to the Honors College and located in the heart of campus. The front of Cater Hall is a popular spot for pictures before formals and other events on campus. The front of Cater also has a large tree-lined greenspace that students can use as a great spot for activities, studying, and picnics. Student organizations often host a wide range of events in front of Cater Hall on the greenspace.
