Rivers Green is a serene and inviting outdoor space nestled between Addlestone Library and the School of Sciences and Mathematics Building. Named in honor of the venerable John Rivers family of Charleston, the space offers a peaceful setting for studying and relaxing as well as venue for campus events and receptions.
With lush greenery, and a tranquil fountain, Rivers Green also features a tribute to former librarian Cynthia Graham Hurd and memorial recognizing the site of African American burial grounds.
