The Hugh P. Cameron House is one of many historic homes on campus. Today the antebellum structure is home to the Caroline and Albert Simons, Jr. Center for Historic Preservation and Community Planning and serves as the headquarters for the College’s Historic Preservation and Community Planning Program.

Cameron House boasts classrooms, design studios, an exhibit space and faculty offices. The two-story brick structure features wooden porches that run the length of each floor. Built in 1851, the College restored the exterior in 2015.
