The J.W. and Nell Birchfield Marching Band Practice Field is home to the 380-member Auburn University Marching Band. Dedicated in 2013, it boasts an artificial turf practice field identical to Pat Dye Field in Jordan-Hare Stadium. The northwest corner of the field houses a pavilion that provides shelter from inclement weather as well as restroom facilities and space for rehearsals and other activities. New storage spaces house instruments, gear, and uniforms that the band uses to practice and perform.
