Opened in 1908, the Mackay Mines Building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Today, it is home to the Mackay School of Earth Sciences & Engineering, the DeLaMare Science and Engineering Library, the W. M. Keck Earth Science and Mineral Engineering Museum, space for faculty from the College of Science, and more.
