The Nazir Ansari Building, completed in 1982, provides 30,460 square feet for The College of Business. In addition to the College of Business, it also houses the Nevada Small Business Development Center, the Bureau of Business and Economic Research, the College of Liberal Arts, the Department of Communication Studies, the Department of Anthropology, the Anthropology Research Museum and a number of additional academic units.
The building is named in honor of Nazir Ansari, professor of managerial sciences from 1967 to 1994.
