Built in 1936, Hansee Hall is the oldest current residence hall on campus. The hall was formerly a women's dormitory named in honor of Martha Lois Hansee, a former dean of women students. During World War II, Hansee Hall served as a barracks for Naval and Marine officer candidates. This hall has round-the-clock quiet hours for students who want a calmer place to live than a traditional residential hall setting.
