McMahon Hall, built in 1965, was once a center for innovative housing programs for students, including foreign language immersion floors, Peace Corps and inmates of state correctional institutions. Today, it hosts student residents, the McMahon Hall Fitness Room and The 8, a makerspace and community center. Events are held in the McMahon Hall Pompeii Room.
