  1. Senior Walk

    1. 1876-1903

      Year: 1876-1903

Senior Walk began as a tradition at the University of Arkansas (http://www.uark.edu/) in 1905, when the names of the senior class were inscribed in a section of sidewalk. Earlier senior classes at the university, which was founded in 1871, were added in the 1930s. Today, the tradition continues with the department of facilities management engraving the names of each new graduating class within about one year after their graduation.
