While cluster-style living is similar to traditional-style, it is definitely a unique experience.
Similar to traditional-style, cluster fosters a welcoming and vibrant Laker community. It’s common to see room doors propped open, hear music playing, people talking across the hall, and hanging out or studying in the lounges.
Holton-Hooker is one of Grand Valley's newest additions, and is currently the only cluster-style option on campus. Like traditional living, it has community-style bathrooms but offers lockers, private shower rooms, and fewer students per bathroom.
A section of cluster-style rooms are reserved for first-year Honors College students, due to Holton-Hooker's centralized campus location.
