        1. Lathrop Hall

          Built in 1905, Lathrop Hall houses the departments of English and creative writing, writing and rhetoric, the Core Curriculum Program, University Studies Division, and the Writing and Speaking Center. Among the offices located here are the Center for Learning, Teaching, and Research, the Upstate Institute, Max Shacknai COVE, the Office of National Fellowships and Scholarships, Sustainability, Equity and Diversity, International Student Services, and Administrative Advising.

           


           

          Sustainability Highlights LEED Certified Building

          Colgate is committed to green building design and construction. Several buildings on campus are Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Certified. LEED is a globally recognized standard for the design, construction, and operation of sustainable buildings. Colgate's green building standards specify that all new construction and major renovations must achieve LEED Certification.
