Named after the first African-American student enrolled at Florence State College- now the University of North Alabama- the Wendell W. Gunn University Commons stands as the University’s most prominent student and community congregation center. It’s often where first-year UNA Students’ journey begins, as the Commons is home to the offices of Student Financial Aid, Registrar, Student Accounts on the 2nd floor and the Office of Admissions on the 3rd floor.
The One Stop, the University’s all-in-one resource center for students, as well as the UNA bookstore, Chik-Fil-A & Starbucks location, and select classrooms can also be found here.

Weekdays, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
