Beef Unit/Dairy Unit
The Beef unit provides students opportunities to safely work with and handle beef and dairy. The beef herd fluctuates around 20 head of Angus influenced cows that represent the beef industry and have access to approximately 8-acres of rotational pasture grazing. The Dairy side of the barn hosts about 30 head of Holstein and Jersey Heifers every other year as part of the Dairy Science and Artificial Insemination program.
