Beginning Monday, May 6th, 2024 until May 2025, construction will consist of expanding the residence rooms to the original building’s lower level, adding approximately 40 beds, pod style restrooms, and community space. The project will include the demolition of existing office space and the relocation of select building-wide services, such as a residence use kitchenette and main student lounge, to the lower-level addition. Upper residential floors 1-3 will also receive pod style restrooms with full plumbing upgrades and carpeting and paint.
The sidewalks surrounding Kohl Hall and a portion of Lot A will be closed for the duration of construction.
