Building Overview
Nanney Hall consists of two floors with a communal bathroom on each floor. The building also features a kitchenette and laundry facility on the second floor, as well as laundry facility and lounge on the ground floor.
History of Nanney Residence Hall
C.P. and Irene Nanney owned the Sun Drop Double Cola Bottling Company in Gastonia. They first began supporting G-W in the 1960s because the school “teaches and treats young people in a manner in which we believe.” They gave their first gift in 1965 for Nanney Residence Hall. Their foundation has continued to support us ever since with substantial yearly gifts.
