Sombrilla Plaza - known simply as the Sombrilla - is a large gathering place in the center of campus and means "umbrella" in Spanish.
The area offers places for students and visitors to study or eat under the expansive shaded canopy, as well as soothing sounds from the nearby Sombrilla Fountain.
