Football: The Alamodome is the home of Roadrunner Football. The facility is owned and operated by the City of San Antonio. UTSA has played its home football games in the Alamodome since its inaugural season in 2011. The Roadrunners set NCAA modern startup program records for inaugural game (56,743) and average home (35,521) attendance during their first year and have drawn more than one million fans to the facility through the first decade.
Commencement takes place for most students in the Dome. Every Spring and Fall, thousands of Roadrunners walk across stage in front of friends, family and peers to complete their educational journey.
