    1. Raymont School House

The Raymont School House, originally located in Fayetteville's Seventy-First Township, is one of Cumberland County’s oldest educational buildings.

History: Raymont was a neighborhood school named after William Ray, whose family received a land grant in the late 1700s.
The 14 x 30 foot building seated 25-30 students, probably across all grade levels. After the school fell out of use, funds were raised to preserve the building. The heirs of William Ray donated the schoolhouse to the former Fayetteville City School System. The building was moved to its current location and was conveyed to the College when it acquired the overall property from the school system.
