      1. Paul H. Thompson Library

        The Paul H. Thompson Library (LRC) is located at 2221 Hull Road.

        It is the headquarters location for FTCC's library services. Library services for FTCC students are also available at the Spring Lake Branch of the Cumberland County Public Library (adjacent to FTCC's Spring Lake campus), and the John L. Throckmorton Library on Fort Liberty (3346 R. Miller St.).

        The Paul H. Thompson Library provides students with 36,000 square feet of space and houses a collection of over 45,000 volumes of books, 275,000 ebooks, 58 magazine subscriptions, and access to over 200 academic databases.         The library has Makerspace machines for use by current students and staff under set rules.

        The library maintains the College's archives and has many files archived digitally.

        History: The Paul H. Thompson Library was completed in 1971. It is named for the first chairman of FTCC's Board of Trustees. Paul H. Thompson's portrait can be seen in the lobby of the Administration building.
