Accessible ramp entrance with automatic door opener is located on Grove Street. From this entrance, an accessible route to Commons and an elevator to all floors is reached by going up the ramp in Memorial Hall and turning right.
The main entrance from the Hewitt Quadrangle side of the building only opens automatically from the inside—however, there is an adjacent entrance from Hewitt Quadrangle directly into Commons with an automatic door opener. This door is usually locked, but users may contact Schwarzman Center staff or Student Accessibility Services to arrange for long-term swipe access. On rare occasions, this entrance may be taken off-line for event preparation inside Commons.
On the second floor, a ramp leads into the Presidents’ Room. There is no automatic door opener, but this door is always staffed for events. This room is also outfitted with an assistive listening system. The entrance into the Good Life Center does not have an automatic door opener; students are encouraged to coordinate with the Good Life Center to arrange for access. Entrance to the West Balcony graduate and professional student lounge is through the Good Life Center.
On the third floor, a ramp leads into the Dome. There is no automatic door opener, but this door is always staffed for events.
On the lower level, the Underground, Bow Wow, and the dance studio are directly accessible. There is no automatic door opener at the entrance to the Well, but the doors are either open during regular hours or staffed for events.
Accessible restrooms are located on each floor, although those on the first floor are typically staff-only except during specific events. An accessible all-gender restroom is located on the lower level.
