      1. Trillium House

        406 Three Oaks Drive

Located on the east side of Carleton’s Lilac Hill community, closest to the Rec Center, Trillium House is named after a low-growing wildflower from the lily family that is native to the Arb. A draw house for student residents, Trillium is split into an upper and lower unit, divided between individual rooms and a group draw space. Both units are designated as quiet areas.

Built to passive house standards, Trillium and its Lilac Hill neighbors are designed to use 69 percent less energy annually than similar buildings built to meet current energy code standards — they even have rooftop solar panels, which generate enough electricity for each house to reach net zero energy usage!
