The Veterans Resource Center is designed to be a hub for veteran students and dependents where they receive dedicated academic counseling, education plan certifications, a dedicated computer lab and support services. Support services include: registration and computer assistance, a study area, food pantry, workshops, and referrals to a variety of resources, both at the college and in the community that include health, employment, and financial aid resources.
The staff helps students with paperwork regarding their VA benefits and helps student veterans meet their educational goals.
The Veterans Resource Center is a gathering place for El Camino College student veterans to study, get to know one another, to be supported academically and socially, and to have a place of their own to hang out between classes.
