With 19 Division I athletic teams, there’s something for every athlete and sports fan at Rider. Our Men and Women’s Basketball teams, Women’s Volleyball team, and the Men’s Wrestling teams all compete in Canastra Hammer Arena & Practice Facility.
Recent renovations have added premium bleacher seating and courtside padded seats, a video board, upgraded locker rooms, and a practice facility named after Jason Thompson ’08.
The Canastra Hammer Arena & Practice Facility is also home to offices for athletics administration, sports information, men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, golf, tennis, softball, and sports medicine.
