At Middlebury we believe that creativity and entrepreneurship, in all its forms, are an essential part of a liberal arts education. Through the Center for Creativity, Innovation, and Social Entrepreneurship, located at 132 Blinn Lane, you’ll have classes, skill building, funding opportunities, space, and more to pursue your creative projects.

“Offering our students the opportunities, resources, and funding to support their most entrepreneurial ideals early on—when they are most in need of support—is an essential part of our work,” said President Laurie Patton at the launch of the center, which combined previously separate departments.

The center includes MiddCORE, Middlebury’s leadership development program; the Social Entrepreneurship Fellowships, which helps a diverse group of students make the social changes they want to see with financial funding; and 13 other programs, many of them with funding opportunities. The center also helps connect students with a variety of mentorship opportunities and hosts events promoting creativity and entrepreneurship throughout the year.
