Becoming Sustainable in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math
Dairy farms and paper mills, move over! In 2018, The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics ranked Wisconsin as second in the nation for the highest concentration of engineering jobs by location. The Brown County STEM Innovation Center, a 63,730 square-foot collaborative space, is designed to meet that demand now and in the future.
This world-class facility for research, learning, community and outreach is also the home of the Richard J. Resch School of Engineering—the newest and only Mechanical Engineering program in Northeast Wisconsin.
Opening its doors in 2019, the STEM Center is a collaborative building for UW-Green Bay and the Brown County community. The building includes spaces like engineering and dietetics labs, independent research offices, and a rooftop patio. The building also features a machine shop, 3D printer and instructional kitchen.
