        The Music Library provides printed collections, over 300,000 books, scores, periodicals and microform. We have several collections including:

        • The Olnick Rare Book Room contains over 3,000 volumes exemplifying the history of music, music editing, performing, and printing.
        • Archival material documenting the creative activity of composers and performers associated with the University and the city.
        • Sheet Music Collection including songs, piano pieces and method books in sheet music format, mostly issued 1800-1950, plus single examples of choral octavo. 
        • Musical scores for the major ensembles including choral octavos, band and orchestral score & parts and jazz charts.

        Access to our library is only available to students, faculty and staff at U of T.
