The U of T Archives & Records Management Services (UTARMS) is responsible for the appraisal, acquisition, preservation and use of University records of permanent value and the private records of individuals and organizations associated with U of T. Along with the Department of Rare Books and Special Collections, the Library forms part of the Thomas Fisher Rare Book Library.
We work cooperatively with other permanent campus archives programs devoted to preserving their sponsors' documentary heritage. As well as providing a research service, we provide an administrative service through the development and implementation of U of T's records management program.
We offer research and information services to all of the U of T community, visiting scholars, and the public. Our staff are available to discuss research enquiries and help find available sources. If you're a researcher, contact us before your visit if you would like guidance in using the Archives.
